Jack Topdjian

Founder

Our founder, Jack Topdjian, has over 30-year experience in executive, entrepreneurship, Private Equity and Advisory Services in healthcare industries, and technology. Early in his career and as a new immigrant to the US, Jack lived the life of a start-up and the challenges related to diversity and equity. As a Partner at top advisory firms (Mckinsey, PwC, Booz and Deloitte), Jack has led the growth of substantial healthcare and technology practices, initiated some of the most innovative industry capabilities and has served as a Senior Counselor to the world’s most prestigious global healthcare and technology companies. Jack is the driving force of an ecosystem of similar angels who are passionate about social justice and impacting global healthcare with the use of advanced technologies and engineering principles.

Wendy Sherry

Angel Advisor

Wendy Sherry is an accomplished and results-oriented executive with over 25 years of experience within the Healthcare industry. She currently leads two Cigna businesses, serving as President of Cigna Payer Solutions and Cigna Connecticut. She has consistently grown market share, revenue and earnings by focusing on delivering superior value for the stakeholders she serves. Wendy has expertise in distribution, network development, business strategy, and product management and is passionate about talent development with a particular focus on mentoring and coaching women to achieve their full potential. She also proudly serves as an inaugural member of Cigna's Enterprise Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee where she is actively working on initiatives focused on reducing health disparities.

Calie Santana, MD

Angel Advisor

Dr. Santana is the Chief Informatics Officer at Westmed Medical Group in Westchester, NY. Her career in healthcare leadership combines analytics, population health, healthcare informatics, payer relations, credentialing, and performance metric design. She is also an expert in teamwork training and in quality improvement skills. Her work has delivered substantial shared savings in the CMS ACO program and payer pay-for-performance incentives. In 2018, Dr. Santana was selected to the inaugural class of Crain’s New York Notable Women in Healthcare and Editor of the Society of General Internal Medicine’s Improving Finances committee. In 2021, she became Chair of the Chief Information Officers Council for the American Medical Group Association. Dr. Santana was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She studied Human Biology and Spanish Literature at Cornell University and completed her medical degree at Harvard Medical School.
